Daylight is a personal budgeting application in development for iPhone. It connects to a household’s bank accounts through a read-only connection, reviews up to two years of transaction history, and proposes a budget built from what the household actually spends rather than from a blank form. It forecasts recurring obligations across the year — including annual and quarterly bills that conventional monthly budgets miss — and reduces the remainder to a single daily allowance that can be checked in seconds. Every figure the app produces can be opened to see the transactions behind it. Daylight is not a bank; it holds no accounts, issues no cards, and cannot move money.

The logo is a half disc rising through a hairline horizon. Half the mark sits below the line, which is the point — the day has not fully arrived, and the number is honest about that.
